Pregnancy

Chiropractic care during pregnancy is a safe and effective approach to alleviate discomfort and improve overall well-being. By addressing spinal alignment and nervous system function, chiropractic adjustments can help manage common pregnancy-related issues such as back pain, hip discomfort, and even nausea. These gentle techniques not only promote a healthier pregnancy environment but also support optimal fetal positioning, potentially leading to smoother labor and delivery. Expecting mothers can benefit from personalized care tailored to their unique needs, ensuring both comfort and health throughout this transformative journey.

During pregnancy, the body is going through rapid changes. It’s an incredible process, growing a human. It takes quite a toll on the body. Chiropractic care balances the nervous system, allowing the body to do what it’s meant to do. It also allows optimal movement to joints, specifically the pelvis. If these joints do not have proper movement, it can cause problems for mother and baby during birth.

We understand the importance of the health of the mother during pregnancy. Mom’s health will reflect the baby’s health, during and after pregnancy.

Webster technique is a method of analysis and adjusting the pelvis. Proper movement of these 3 joints is super important for all people, particularly pregnant individuals.

Webster not only focuses on the joints of the pelvis, but also the ligaments and muscles in the area of the pelvis. Providing balance in these tissues and joints will allow proper movement, as well as restore nerve connections to and from baby and mom. Nerve interference from joint restrictions are so common, but not “normal”.

Pediatrics

Kids of all ages benefit from chiropractic care. In fact, its important for kids to be checked by a chiropractor at least one time per year to screen for scoliosis, treat joint dysfunctions, and educate the child and the parent on proper lifestyle modifications that will help the child grow optimally!

Infants greatly benefit from chiropractic care, as it plays a crucial role in their overall well-being. Birth can be a surprisingly traumatic experience for the newborn, which may lead to various physical challenges. Therefore, it is essential for infants to be thoroughly checked every few months for any potential joint dysfunction. Such issues can significantly impair their healthy growth and development in those critical early stages of life.

“What a child experiences in childhood will directly impact them in their adult years. I have the opportunity to help kids grow into the people they are meant to be. I get to offer chiropractic care and health education to the kids in my community. I am excited to help kids empower themselves to take their health into their own hands.” - Dr Jess
