Chinese Herbal Medicine
There are over three hundred herbs that are commonly being used today that have a history that goes back at least 2,000 years. Chinese herbs are purchased from reputable companies, tested numerous times for safety & follow standards for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). Often herbs are prescribed in conjunction with acupuncture for optimal results.
In specific circumstances Electro Acupuncture is a fabulous option. This in involves the application of a pulsating electrical current to acupuncture needles as a means of stimulating the acupoints.
Cupping therapy is an ancient Chinese form of medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin to mobilize blood flow in order to promote healing. Suction is created using heat (fire) or mechanical devices (hand or electrical pumps).
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy using moxa made from dried mugwort. Moxa is used to warm regions and acupuncture points with the intention of stimulating circulation. It can be especially effective in the treatment of chronic problems.
Gua Sha is an ancient healing technique which increases microcirculation in the soft tissue and decreases pain. It can also be very effective for asthma, bronchitis, colds, flu, fever, heatstroke, fibromyalgia, strains, sprains, and muscle spasms.
